Steel security fencing is the commercial-yard default across the Deal industrial estate, the Sandwich Road corridor, and any of the smaller trade yards inland from the town. Spec
Standard steel security fencing is 2.1m or 2.4m pales in W-section or D-section steel, fixed to horizontal rails on square-hollow-section posts driven into concrete. Powder-coated dark green or black is the usual finish; RAL colours to match a corporate spec are available at a small uplift. Pale tops are triple-pointed as standard for climb resistance.
Coastal corrosion note
Steel security fencing on the Deal coast should be specced with a hot-dip-galvanised base under the powder coat, not powder coat alone. Salt air off the Channel will find pinholes in a powder-coat-only finish inside five years, and once it does the substrate rusts through. Galv-under-powder is the fleet standard and it is the spec I quote on every Deal job.
